Initiative to support Tigers of Sariska had picked up a great momentum, three more local workshops in the nearby rural communities were conducted in Oct Nov. Details at L'ile des nomads.

A Team of 16 young volunteers (from Russia, Germany, Italy, Finland, France and Belarus, led by Ms Maria from the Russian Federation) completed our SEI eco-project successfully in the Himalayas (Kangra, upper regions) during the summers. A Russian speaking Indian interpreter was deputed to assist Maria. The project lasted for 4 weeks. Details at L'ile des nomads.

Marc and Catherine have decided to make a documentary on Dhauladhars during Summer next year, highlighting the need for ecological protection in the upper Himalayan region. An aerial photographer for drone footage has been arranged by them. Their crew's local stay logistics and transportation within the Valley have been organised, these will be funded jointly by some Homestay owners and local Gram panchayats. More at L'ile des nomads.

Our next Aerocraze Aeromodeller's RC India Club weekend has been fixed for mid April 2026 (subject to calm winds forecast days?). Recommended Radios 2.4 GHz DMSS. Gala Picnic basket lunch for the event will be at the flying field itself. It will be jointly hosted by us and Sufalaam (Alok). The apéritifs will be sponsored by a few other friends. Mahseer Fishing Trip to Pancheshwar region in India had to be abandoned this year due to unfavourable river conditions (excessive seasonal rains). Radhika, Vikram, Fabienne, Henry and their families were advised to cancel their visit.

The GFGC Golf day has been postponed. The revised dates will be decided soon. It will be a fundraising event to mobalise some support for 2 primary schools in a tribal area. Details at L'ile des nomads.

Next year's annual “Rendez-vous de la fraternité de Nomad” will be in India, It is likely to be in the state of Sikkim in Oct.
